Return & Refund Policy
At Axon Fly Fishing, we design and select our gear to perform at the water's edge. Your satisfaction and confidence in your equipment are our absolute priorities. If an item doesn't quite match what you were looking for, we've put in place a structured return process to make things easy, while ensuring the impeccable quality of our inventory for all our customers.
1. Return Window You have 14 days from the date your order is received to submit a return request. After this period, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund or exchange.
2. Strict Eligibility Conditions To ensure every customer receives equipment in pristine, fully reliable condition, returned items must meet the following criteria:
- New condition: The item must never have been used, assembled, or tested on the water.
- Original packaging: It must be returned in its intact original packaging, including all tags, manuals, plastic wrap, and factory accessories.
- Proof of purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase from our store is required.
To protect the quality of our gear, any item showing signs of use (e.g. darkened cork grip, scratches on the reel) will be refused and returned to you at your expense.
3. Non-Returnable Items Due to the technical nature of fly fishing, certain items are final sale:
- Fly lines, backing, and leaders/tippets: If unspooled from their original spool or mounted on a reel.
- Flies: For obvious quality control and handling reasons.
- Sale or clearance items: Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund.
- Gift cards.
4. Return Procedure (3 Simple Steps) Please never send your purchase back to the address on the original shipping label. Simply follow these steps:
- Contact us: Send an email to our support team at contactinfo@axonflyfishing.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Wait for authorization: We will respond promptly with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the exact address of our processing centre.
- Ship it: Pack the item carefully to avoid damage in transit.
5. Shipping Costs & Responsibilities
- Return shipping: The cost of returning your item is the responsibility of the customer.
- Original shipping fees: The original shipping cost from your order is non-refundable. If a refund is issued, this cost will be deducted.
- Package security: We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service or purchasing insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned package and are not responsible for items lost by the carrier during return shipping.
6. Damaged or Defective Items Upon Arrival We rigorously inspect our products, but if an item is damaged during shipping, you have 48 hours from delivery to notify us by email with supporting photos. We will then take the necessary steps to replace the defective item as quickly as possible.
7. Refund Processing Once your return is received and inspected by our team, we will send you an email confirming receipt and notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
